About Meritee
I am a dedicated ESL tutor with 10 years of experience working with high school and college students. Teaching is my passion, and I enjoy supporting students in their learning journey. I have successfully taught around 150 to 200 students, which has helped me develop strong teaching skills.
I focus on building a solid foundation in grammar and vocabulary while improving communication skills. One of my proud milestones is seeing students become confident in expressing themselves in English.
Many of my students have improved their academic performance and communication abilities. My classes are simple, engaging, and interactive. I create a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to learn.
I believe education can change lives, and I am proud to be part of that process.

I use a practical and interactive ESL teaching methodology that helps students develop confidence and independence in using English. I include real-life examples and case studies to make lessons meaningful and easy to understand.
This approach helps students apply their knowledge in everyday communication. I focus on motivation by encouraging students and creating a positive learning environment where they feel comfortable to speak and practice regularly.
I include problem-solving techniques such as role-plays, discussions, storytelling, and real-life tasks that improve communication and thinking skills. I believe in integrity, so I provide honest feedback and guide students with patience and clarity.
I also follow a flexible teaching approach, adapting lessons based on each student’s learning needs, pace, and goals. Besides ESL, I teach grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and writing skills to support overall development.
