About Akemi
Most recently, I worked as Music Director for productions of Seussical Kids, Seussical Jr, and The Drowsy Chaperone Jr. at UCLA's Bruins on Broadway program. In addition, I've performed at the Tony Award-winning Pasadena Playhouse in productions of both their All-Star musicals thus far: Into the Woods (as part of the Stephen Sondheim festival in 2023) and Hadestown (2025).

I've been a performer for 15 years, spanning more than 30 theatre productions. I'm extremely passionate about music; I play guitar and piano, and I've musically directed theatre productions for children's theatre (ranging ages 4-15). My priority is always vocal health and longevity. I'm currently a college student at Emerson college, and while I'm now studying film, theatre remains a huge part of my life and one of my biggest passions.
