Unlock Your Best Audition! Walking into an audition room or recording a high-stakes self-tape requires far more than just singing the 'right notes'. It demands absolute vocal control, narrative clarity under pressure, a repertoire tailored specifically to you, and sometimes, backing tracks that support your unique pacing and interpretation.
Delivered entirely online via high-quality audio Zoom setups, my sessions offer a complete, convenient, and end-to-end audition preparation process from anywhere in the UK or internationally.
What We Focus On:
- Strategic Repertoire Building: Curating a versatile audition book (Golden Age, Contemporary MT, Pop/Rock, Classical/Legit) that showcases your vocal ability and range.
- Custom 16 & 32 Bar Cuts: Crafting seamless, accompanist-friendly sheet music cuts designed to deliver maximum vocal and dramatic impact within tight time limits.
- Acting Through Song: Integrating vocal control with clear dramatic choices so your performance connects instantly on tape or in person.
- Mock Auditions & Self-Tape Strategy: Simulating room dynamics and organising your self-tape setup to ensure professional sound and presentation.
Custom Accompaniment Tracks for Self-Tapes:
Finding standard, rigid backing tracks online often forces you to compromise on tempo, key, or dramatic pacing. As part of my service, I provide bespoke piano tracks recorded tailored specifically to your voice and cut length:
- Custom Keys & Tempos: Recorded exactly in your optimal key and tailored to your breath control and dynamic phrasing.
- Singer-Friendly Count-Ins & Rallentandos: Recorded with musical breathing room, distinct cues where needed, and realistic accompaniment flow for seamless self-tape submissions.
- High-Quality Audio Exports: Delivered in crisp, studio-ready MP3/WAV formats ready to drop straight into your self-tape editing software.
