About Sahiba
I have 5+ years of formal training at Chhayanaut, Bangladesh, specializing in Indian classical music and Nazrulgeeti. Alongside this, I bring 7+ years of experience in the performing arts, with multiple awards from national-level music olympiads. I also have 2+ years of experience in Western choral music, giving me a strong foundation in ensemble singing and vocal harmony.
My musical background also includes training and understanding of thumri, ghazal, and lyrical interpretation, giving me a strong foundation in both vocal technique and musical literature. Teaching allows me to share this depth with students in a structured, supportive way, helping them develop not only a strong voice, but a real understanding of music as an art form.

Lessons typically run for 60 minutes and cover breath control, pitch accuracy, range, and vocal health. Indian classical sessions include raga and alap practice with taanpura and harmonium accompaniment. Western lessons focus on posture, projection, and resonance.
My lessons are suitable for beginners and intermediate singers of any age who want to build strong foundations and sing with confidence.
