About Anna
I understand the GCSE and A Level science curriculums very well, after pursuing all 3 of the sciences at both of these educational levels, and hence am really keen to share my knowledge on what examiners want to see written in exam answers that will attain you the best grades possible !! It took me some time to fully grasp the needs of specific content, and hence would like to help you maximise your own potential without extensive difficulty, by engaging in a lot of practice tasks and exam question breakdown to prepare you as best as I possibly can for the exam period.
I am a second-year MSci Neuroscience student at UON, and have a genuine passion for all things biotechnologically-based. I am looking towards pursuing a PhD or entering into GEM post-graduation, to make an impactful difference in the scientific community. My particular areas of interest are neuroimmunology and diseases affecting the nervous system. An hour long ( longer session can also be arranged by request) , these online lessons will consist of content summaries and work-throughs of practice questions. I would recommend these sessions for individuals in Year 10, Year 11, year 12 and year 13 to get the most out of feedback and build a higher level of understanding of materials covered.
If you are interested in top-up revision and practice sessions as a final year student please also get in touch :).
In the first session, a plan leading up to exams will be made using problem topics. If no particular problem topics are given, then topics will be selected by myself, consisting of topics which were typically underperformed on in previous years.
I can also set homework for if preferred/interested - I would recommend taking this option as it means your long answers can be peer reviewed and worked on with the solutions at the beginning of the next session.
If informed sufficiently in advance, planned materials/topics can be changed to address surfacing any possible surfacing problem areas, and extra materials for these can also be collated and provided for independent study.

Packages can be bought in advance when the learning timetable is planned in the first free trial session. If longer lessons are preferred, I can offer £35 for two consecutive hours, which can involve more recall and/or more practice questions.
