About JUSTIN
I got nothing to show for but my 12 years of experiences as living in China as an ABC struggle with Chinese from the get-go, now as a full pledged Chinese international Uni student. Plus, taught English and Chinese to my fellows peers during high school and universities in both US & China, Honestly tho, i'm just looking to help out whatever i can.

ok I'll keep it real, no sugarcoating.
I teach what i know in both languages (EN&CN),
i ain't no professor or an Actual tutor but a fellow peer,
who also had the struggle of learning Chinese when younger. Don't ask me how to write a proper article, and i won't ask you to read a Chinese poem...
Want help with HSK ? you got the textbook, i will help you out !
- pretend i'm a guy sitting next to you in class that speaks perfect Chinese but everyone knows not ask me for writing advice.
i'll teach you like social cues, slangs here & there, basic fundamental if need be. formal conversation if advanced enough
and exchanging stories and so on.
However, beside the laughs and giggles, i will enforce & point out mistake whenever i see one, correct you almost immediately after. I‘m able to switch gear real fast.
- a typical lesson would be, first, we chat up about your today or week, need to get to know one of other, exchanging stories, causal light or deep sentimental, i'll follow the flow 70% of the time.
Or watch a Chinese clip on Youtube you recommend or i, review and analyze words and sentences, meaning it would be both speaking & listening.

Bottom line: know your BoPoMoFo, speaks like a child or better, kinda understands what your Chinese immigrant parents are saying. if you can speak like a Chinese 1 grader, or if you can maintain basic conversation like speaking broken Chinese as a ABC who's parents enforce them to go to Chinese school when a kid but hate it !
