I focus on making sure students actually understand a method, rather than just memorising it. We work through problems together, I check you're following as we go, and if something isn't clicking, I'll explain it in a different way rather than just moving on. Exam technique is important too, so we'll work through past papers and look at common mistakes.
Lessons are usually an hour, although I can be flexible depending on the student's needs. Longer sessions can also be useful closer to exams for working through a full past paper.
I achieved Grade 9s in Maths and Further Maths at GCSE and A*A*A*A at A-Level, including A*s in both Maths and Further Maths. I'm starting a Maths degree at the University of Warwick, and I've also helped friends, siblings and classmates with these subjects, giving me experience explaining difficult topics as well as studying them myself.
Lessons are aimed at GCSE and A-Level students studying Maths or Further Maths. Whether you're trying to close gaps, build confidence, improve your exam technique or push towards a top grade, I'll tailor the lessons to what you need.
