About Talia
I am a curious 24 year old who loves traveling, meeting new people, learning languages, working hard and challenging myself. I am a native English and Spanish speaker, additionally I studied French and recently learnt Italian by living and working in Italy.
I have 8 years of experience as an English tutor providing formal and informal lessons for children and adults of all skill levels, in Canada and internationally. Certainly, I am prepared to adapt my lessons to your goals and skills, to ensure the highest success rate.
My teaching focus is on pronunciation, vocabulary and comprehension as I know it can be frustrating to learn a new language, but feel as if you cannot use it in the “real world”. My lessons focus on real world situations and conversations to improve your language skills and confidence when speaking.
I am highly motivated to improve one's confidence in their language skills, as seeing others succeed makes me succeed!

My lessons are effective and dynamic by using practical and hands on methods to help you truly remember what we covered. I push past grammar and theory to practice real conversational English that you will use in the REAL WORLD.
I will create real life situations to practice oral pronunciation, increase vocabulary and improve comprehension. I find using real life situations helps the students remember the lesson and makes it easier to apply what was learnt to the real world.
I know every student is different so I will apply various teaching methods to find what works best for you!
