About Bradley
Hi there! I’m Brad I’m an undergraduate student at Stellenbosch University, specializing in Applied English Language Studies and English Studies—which is just a fancy way of saying I spend a lot of time analyzing words, grammar, and how language shapes the world around us. When I’m not buried in academic texts, you’ll probably find me watching anime, getting lost in the endless world of Wattpad stories, or keeping up with politics (because nothing is more dramatic than real-world events). Why Am I Teaching? Good question! Teaching isn’t just about sharing knowledge—it’s about gaining practical experience, refining my skills, and helping others master a language that can open countless doors.

Look, I get it—English can be a confusing, chaotic, and occasionally ridiculous language. One moment, you're confidently writing a sentence, and the next, you're questioning why *colonel* is pronounced *kernel* or why *read* (present) and *read* (past) look identical but sound different. It’s enough to make anyone want to give up.
But here’s the good news: I can help. And not in the boring, robotic, "copy this worksheet" kind of way. No, my tutoring comes with a mix of humor, clarity, and just the right amount of strictness to keep you from embarrassing yourself in front of future employers, professors, or the internet.
Why Me?
1. I Speak Fluent "Confused Student"
You know that feeling when you ask a question and get an answer that somehow leaves you even more lost? That won’t happen here. I specialize in explaining things in a way that actually makes sense, even if that means using ridiculous metaphors or pop culture references to get the point across.
2. I Won’t Let You Get Away With Nonsense
Think you can write "their going too the store"* and hope no one notices? Not on my watch. I will politely but firmly guide you away from the grammatical disasters that haunt essays, texts, and job applications.
3. Painless (Mostly) Grammar and Writing Help
Grammar can feel like a labyrinth built by a mad king, but I make it simple, logical, and even—dare I say—fun. Writing essays? I’ll show you how to fill pages without sounding like you're just trying to hit a word count.
4. I Can Save You From Future Embarrassment
Misusing *your* and *you’re* might not seem like a big deal now, but trust me—one day, you’ll be emailing a boss or a crush, and that tiny mistake will haunt you. Let’s fix it before it’s too late.
What You Get When You Work With Me
Clear, straightforward explanations (no jargon, no fluff)
Personalized lessons based on what you actually need help with
A little bit of tough love(because I care)
A sense of humor (because suffering through grammar should at least be entertaining)
So, if you want to write, speak, and understand English with confidence, let’s get started.
