About Kaden
I’m a Wilderness First Responder through NOLS Wilderness medicine, trained and working in the southern Appalachian mountains. When I’m not doing search and rescue, I work at sporting events such as Spartan races and dirt bike races, where I see hundreds of patients at a time in the medical tent, from basic ankle sprains to open leg fractures and even more. I have knowledge to share and want to share as much as I can, because I believe everybody should know how to save a life.

If you love to spend your time outdoors, whether it be in parks and sports complexes or deep in the mountains, you know there comes risk with all of it. Do you want to sit around and watch while someone waits for help, or do you want to take charge and be the help?With my experience as a Wilderness First Responder working in both high paced urban triage settings and in deep woods with little to no supplies, I will teach you everything you need and want to know about how to keep your friends and family alive when disaster strikes in the outdoors. I am flexible for scheduling to work around you, as well as for how lessons go. However you learn best, I will accommodate. We will have different sections of information and can pace them however you feel suits you best. There will be no tests or exams, however there will be little quizzes to make sure the knowledge sticks. This class won’t get you a certificate- but the knowledge is all the same and far more important than a piece of paper.
