About Mark
I'm Mark, I have a BFA in Animation from Rhode Island School of Design. I have 7 years of experience as a freelance animator, illustrator specializing in pen-and-ink sketching. I have created short films for Adult Swim, and directed several animated music videos. I also have experience working on games. I have learned drawing in a lot of different ways, and I know it's important to adapt my teaching style to each student. If you want to learn on easy mode, no problem, if you want to learn hardcore mode, I can help you with that. One isn't better than the other! I'm excited to see you succeed and have a lot of fun sketching.

Mark has a wealth of experience and knowledge about drawing, illustration, animation, and the creative process in general. He makes learning effective and fun, and is also just a super interesting person to talk to. I can’t imagine a person I’d rather learn drawing from!
When I look back on my drawing lessons with Mark, what really stuck with me was his patience, sense of humor, and ability to make difficult concepts easy. 10/10 tutor!
