Willing to help anyone in math, no matter the difficulty and time!

Hi! Mimi is a high school friend of mine. She has helped me through subjects like English, Math, and Chemistry both in high school and college. She is very passionate about the subjects she teaches and went out of her way to explain topics to me with great detail and background info, filling in the gaps so I can fully understand the concepts. She has also shown me tools, websites, and YouTube videos that would help me with concepts I didn’t fully understand and just to keep in the back of my head for future reference so I would always have something and someone to fall back on. There have been many times where she has saved me from struggling on my own. One specific time is when we were in different colleges and I had an assignment due that night, but I couldn’t understand the material enough to even start the assignment. She made time for me and we FaceTimed while she explained concepts, equations, and why things work the way they do so I could get the full picture of what I am solving for and why I am solving for in that chemical equation/formula.

Mimi has been tutoring me for almost two years and I appreciate how she has broken down concepts that I find confusing into ways I find understandable. She has truly helped me make a difference in my academic performance and I’m glad to have her as my tutor.
