About Melissa
Hi! Before I start rambling about all of the reasons why I'm qualified, let me tell you about who I truly am. We all struggle with something, and I want to help you. I'm a good listener, and I adapt to your learning style. I choose to teach because I love to see that lightbulb moment.
I have over 20 years of writing and editing experience. I can help you with grammar, punctuation, tone of voice, informal or formal writing, and inclusive language.
I taught a child on the autism spectrum who was academically behind 4 grades and he graduated on time and met Florida State Standards.
I hold a certificate from Shipley Associates (the gold standard in writing and managing proposals), and I can help you learn how to break into this lucrative career. I currently manage a proposal department for a government contractor.
