About Rhea
With over 4 years of experience teaching English, I’ve developed a deep love for helping young learners discover the joy of reading. My background in English Language and Professional Writing shapes how I teach — with clarity, creativity, and care. I’m passionate about children’s literature and the power of storytelling to spark imagination. My lessons use colorful picture books, songs, and creative play to make every reading session exciting. I help children build phonological awareness and reading fluency step by step. We explore sounds, words, and stories in ways that feel natural and fun. For early readers, I focus on confidence and comprehension. For emergent readers, I guide them through the thrill of their very first words. My sessions encourage curiosity and self-expression through language. Learning becomes an adventure with every story we read. Watching children grow into confident readers is what inspires me most. Together, we’ll unlock the magic of reading and imagination in English.

My teaching approach focuses on building strong foundations in academic English and research writing. Each session is structured to improve clarity, organization, and confidence. I guide students through thesis development, outlining, and logical flow. Together, we refine arguments and ensure each idea is supported by credible sources. I teach citation styles such as APA and MLA with practical examples. Academic integrity is always emphasized to promote honest, ethical work. Lessons include writing practice, editing, and feedback sessions. I enjoy helping heritage learners strengthen their language accuracy and academic tone. For advanced students, we focus on improving sentence structure and coherence. I tailor lessons for exam preparation, research papers, and university coursework. The goal is to help learners produce writing that meets academic standards. Each session moves from understanding to mastery. Through structure, clarity, and feedback, we’ll refine your academic voice for scholarly success.
