About Amelia
With 8 years of experience, I am passionate about providing tailored guitar lessons for students of all ages. My teaching philosophy revolves around understanding each student's unique goals and musical preferences, allowing me to create personalized lesson plans that cater to their specific needs. Whether you are a beginner just starting out or an advanced player looking to refine your skills, I am dedicated to helping you master techniques and achieve your musical aspirations.
In my lessons, I specialize in jazz, blues, and fingerstyle guitar, offering a diverse range of styles and techniques to explore. My approach combines practical skill-building with a deep understanding of music theory, ensuring that students not only improve their playing abilities but also develop a comprehensive knowledge of the music they love. I believe in fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel motivated and confident in their progress, allowing them to fully express their creativity and passion for music.
Outside of teaching, I have a variety of hobbies that enrich my life and inform my approach to music education. I enjoy exploring different musical genres and staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in guitar playing. Additionally, I love hiking, discovering new cuisines, and capturing beautiful moments through photography. These interests provide a well-rounded perspective that I bring into my lessons, helping me connect with students on a personal level and share my enthusiasm for music and creativity.
