About Luke
I am a native English speaker who has spent even more time honing his academic English teaching skills. As such, I don’t speak too quickly so that students are able to understand me and therefore build confidence. I have experience learning new languages as an adult, so I understand your perspective too. I studied to be a doctor and I also played drums in several bands, so I have a wide range of knowledge topics for discussion with you. I am patient, fun loving and flexible so you can be assured that each lesson will be a blast.

Using a mix of flexible and structured approach to teaching English, I’m usually able to get the best out of each student on a personal basis. I am very patient as I understand that each student needs time to catch on to new topics. I use modern technology and total physical response to engage every student. My knowledge of Russian, Ukrainian and a little bit of French languages also help me understand the stages that each student may be on their learning journey.
