About Poonam

Hello, I’m Poonam Baid — a passionate graphic designer and educator with over five years of hands-on experience in the creative industry. I hold a degree in Communications with a specialization in Advertising and Branding, along with a minor in Graphic Design. Over the years, I’ve worked on diverse design projects ranging from brand identity and digital content to packaging and corporate collateral. As a self-taught designer who has grown through both formal education and real-world practice, I understand the learning curve and challenges beginners often face. My goal as a tutor is to simplify complex concepts and help students build not just technical proficiency in tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Canva, but also a strong eye for design. I believe in nurturing creativity, encouraging experimentation, and ensuring every student walks away with skills they can confidently use in personal or professional projects.

About the lesson

This class is designed for beginners and aspiring creatives who want to build a strong foundation in graphic design and learn how to use industry-standard tools effectively. You will be guided through the fundamentals of design — including layout, typography, color theory, branding, and visual storytelling — while gaining hands-on experience with software like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Canva.

Whether you're looking to create professional-level social media posts, brand assets, posters, or presentations, this class will equip you with the skills and confidence to bring your ideas to life. Each session is structured, practical, and tailored to your pace, with a focus on real-world applications and portfolio-worthy projects.
