About June
I’m a French tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BA in Art History and French Studies. My passion lies in helping learners navigate French not only as a language but as a bridge between cultures. I specialize in teaching advanced students who aim to refine their cross-cultural communication and diplomatic etiquette. My lessons focus on mastering tone, formality, and nuance for international or professional contexts. I emphasize how culture shapes speech, gesture, and expression. Together, we explore how body language and phrasing convey respect and intention. I guide learners through the subtleties of written and spoken French used in global organizations. My approach integrates history, art, and language to deepen cultural understanding. Students gain confidence in both conversation and presentation. I particularly enjoy supporting professionals preparing for international postings or multilingual meetings. Lessons are personalized, structured, and context-driven. We also practice interpreting and responding appropriately to cultural cues. My goal is to help you communicate with grace, precision, and global awareness. Let’s master the elegance of French for real-world diplomacy.

My approach to teaching French focuses on communication that truly connects to daily life. I believe language should serve you in real moments — especially when it comes to health and well-being. In my lessons, we explore vocabulary for describing symptoms, visiting a pharmacy, or making a doctor’s appointment. Students learn how to express how they feel and ask for what they need with confidence. I integrate role-play, dialogues, and scenario-based exercises to make practice lively and useful. We talk about healthy routines, habits, and mindfulness using natural French phrases. I also help students understand the cultural side of wellness in French-speaking countries. For The Traveler, we practice phrases for emergencies, checkups, and navigating healthcare abroad. For The Academic or Linguist, we go deeper into linguistic patterns and specialized terminology. My lessons combine practicality with a relaxed, engaging pace. I encourage spontaneous conversation in every class. Students learn to listen, respond, and express themselves clearly. Together, we’ll make French part of your everyday well-being.
