About Ezra
Bonjour! I’m a French tutor with over 5 years of experience and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Francophone Studies. I specialize in helping high school and university students who find French grammar and essay writing challenging. My approach is creative, patient, and tailored to each learner’s pace. I believe that even the most complex grammar can become simple when explained clearly and step by step. Together, we break down tricky rules, practice sentence-building, and develop writing that flows with both clarity and expression. I also love bringing French culture into lessons through poetry, literature, and history it adds richness and meaning to the language. Whether we’re decoding a tense or exploring a poem, I make sure every session connects to real understanding. I encourage my students to ask questions, take risks, and build confidence over time. No stress, no pressure just steady progress. I’ve helped many learners go from frustration to fluency in both spoken and written French. Every success, no matter how small, is worth celebrating. With the right guidance, grammar becomes manageable and writing becomes a joy. Let’s turn your challenges into confidence and bring your French to life!

My teaching approach is centered around building real confidence in speaking and understanding French. I create a friendly and encouraging space where learners feel safe to make mistakes and grow. Each lesson includes clear grammar tips, sentence-building games, and roleplay conversations to improve speed and timing in responses. We work on speaking naturally, step by step starting slow, then picking up pace as fluency builds.
I use fun exercises to help learners think in French, not just translate from English. Listening and speaking are practiced together so students respond faster and more accurately. I also include writing and reading for those who want to improve in academic or professional settings. Whether you're preparing for school, work, or life in a new place, I tailor each session to your real-world needs.
We use tools like flashcards, short videos, and pronunciation guides to keep lessons interactive. I celebrate progress, no matter how small, and help students see how far they’ve come. With practice, patience, and the right support, anyone can become confident in French.
