About Zahraa

Hey there!

I’m super excited to get started with you! I’ve had my acrylic art featured in a summer exhibition, and I love teaching art to everyone—from little kids to adults. My main thing is acrylics and acrylic watercolors, and I find using different paintings as references really helps bring out your unique style.

In our lessons, we’ll dive into cool art concepts and get hands-on with creating your own pieces. I’m here to help you build confidence and have fun while you learn. The whole point is to enjoy yourself while painting!

About the lesson

Student-Centered Approach: I tailor lessons to each student’s interests, skill level, and learning style to make the content engaging and effective.

Conceptual Understanding First: I emphasize foundational art concepts like color theory and composition before teaching specific techniques.

Hands-On Practice: Students learn best through practical exercises. I incorporate sketching, painting, and digital art activities to apply their skills.

Incremental Progression: Lessons build on previous skills to help students gradually improve and gain confidence.

Feedback and Reflection: I provide actionable critiques and encourage students to reflect on their work to identify strengths and areas for growth.

Inspiration and Art History: I expose students to various artists and art movements to inspire and contextualize their own work
