About Mishka
I'm Mishka Thébaud, a working film and TV actor with credits including The Boys, Smoke, Reacher, The Good Doctor, and Law & Order: SVU. I hold a BFA in Acting from York University and am a Dora Award winner for my performance in Scarberia. I work across Canadian and US productions as an ACTRA and SAG-AFTRA member. I read for casting directors in my spare time and have sat in on many director/producer sessions, so I've seen firsthand how casting decisions sometimes get made — it's often the choice nobody walked in expecting.

My approach is simple: help you be as natural as you can be, while leaning into what makes you unique. It's hard to stand out in this business, and your own personality and quirks are often the fastest way there.
I'm patient and honest, and I love the exploratory part of the work. We'll try scenes many different ways — even versions that are completely "wrong" — because sometimes one unexpected line delivery unlocks the whole scene. You'll walk into your tape or audition feeling confident and free.
At the end of the day, this work should feel like play. Let's play.
