About Darun
I am a working professional and currently employed as a Software Developer in a product-based company. I hold a B.Tech degree in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and I specialize in development-focused areas of AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI. Along with my industry experience, I have also worked as a part-time tutor at a reputed institute in India, where I trained students from various backgrounds in Python, data science fundamentals, and real-world problem solving. My teaching style is friendly and student-centered, aiming to break down complex concepts into simple, practical lessons. Being an active developer, I bring real-time industry knowledge into my teaching, which helps students understand not just the “how” but also the “why” behind every concept. I believe in creating a learning environment where students can think critically, solve problems logically, and build confidence through hands-on experience. Teaching techniques and methods: I follow a step-by-step, concept-first approach, introducing new topics with clear explanations and visual aids where needed. I incorporate interactive coding sessions, mini-projects, problem-solving exercises, regular quizzes for revision, and real-world scenarios to explain abstract topics like loops, conditionals, or OOP. The usual structure of a class: Each class typically includes: 1. Warm-up or recap of previous topics (5–10 minutes) 2. Explanation of a new concept with examples (15–20 minutes) 3. Live coding and practice session (20–25 minutes) 4. Doubt clearing and a quick summary (5–10 minutes) Special features as a teacher: I adjust my pace based on student understanding so no one gets left behind. I use storytelling and relatable analogies to make coding fun and easier to grasp. I encourage students to ask “why” so they develop problem-solving skills. I also provide practical exercises based on real-world examples to build confidence.
