About Ellie
I hold a Bachelor of Creative Writing with Distinction and have also completed units in secondary education. I specialise in writing and editing, and have published short stories and do freelance copy writing and editing for businesses.
I have been editing essays, assignments, and manuscripts at a university level for seven years. I have a keen interest in the English language and have had since childhood.

I cater to each student's needs and goals, and am happy to cooperate with parents and teachers along the way. Every student has their own struggles with school English, from essay structuring down to basic spelling and grammar. I try to work from these basics up to ensure that the student has the tools they need to move into their next units with confidence.
Lessons can be spent going through homework, structuring, drafting and editing assignments, and preparing for spoken tasks. I can also prepare lessons around my own content based on a student's individual needs in line with the Australian curriculum, and can conduct writing workshops or help with NAPLAN practice - whatever your student needs to improve and succeed.
