About Grant
I am a writing tutor with over 4 years of experience helping students improve their skills and performance. Across my time at my college's writing center, I have worked with over 250 students and received positive comments and reviews that have led to long-lasting, trusting relationships with students. I have strong academic writing experience, receiving top marks on high school AP exams as well as in my college-level writing courses. Additionally, I have received direct faculty referrals to tutor students in their classes. My tutoring style is conversational, supportive, and clear. I break down complex topics into manageable steps while prioritizing student engagement and understanding, ensuring students leave each session more confident and better equipped to succeed independently.
