About Carmelo
I gained recognition for my standout rendition of Maroon 5's "Sunday Morning" on season 3 of X Factor Australia, now with 15 million worldwide views. My distinctive style and "effortless" vocals led to performances alongside Usher, Rita Ora, and others as an X Factor Australia finalist, I received acclaim and global attention, becoming a trending topic on Twitter twice in a month. Post-show, I've remained active gigging around Australia, and for Carnival Cruise Lines in the USA. I achieved success with my debut single "No Brakes," and ventured into theatre with a nationally recognised cabaret show. I’ve had 12 years of experience teaching and performing over the years, at ‘Everyone can sing, ‘Singing Sydney’ and my own Private lessons at ‘Studio13’ in Sydney. Now, I'm returning to pursue my passion as a vocal coach in Europe!

I have been going to Carmelo for my singing for the past 2 years and I wouldn’t go to anyone else!
He has helped me so much, not only with my singing, but also my confidence.
Carmelo is friendly, patient and an amazing teacher, thank you Carmelo!Carmelo was my first teacher on my journey to singing. He brought out a voice - my voice and did this in a fun and informative way. He is very talented himself but helps you to believe and bring out your own talent. I improved tremendously and my confidence also grew. I would highly recommend him to anyone whether starting out on their singing journey or wanting to “tune up” and improve their craft.
Thanks!

I have had singing lessons with Carmelo for several years now and absolutely recommend him to all other singers and students. His teaching style is laid back but at the same time he doesn’t let you become complacent. Carmelo is able to explain the mechanics of singing in such a way that you can understand and replicate, which in turn expands your range, knowledge and muscle memory. He has coached me through several performances and I couldn’t have done it without his supportCarmelo is a wonderful teacher who helped me to sing in public. I suffer stage fright and he was so helpful.
He is patient and explains how to better use your breathing to help get a stronger note.
Makes you feel so comfortable and relax and that’s why I know he is a great teacher.
