About Garo

Recently just moved back from Europe after a 3 year stint as a professional soccer coach overseas. Having a sports psychology background helped me a tremendous amount, and translated to the practical experience I gained. Coaching was very similar to tutoring, as our job was to teach and test on a weekly basis new skills and ideas learned.

About the lesson

Tutoring can sound boring or almost like a punishment... but with my approach it is anything but. I go out of my way to ensure each lesson is engaging, using numerous forms of communication and visual aids . I cater to students in middle school and high school.

Garo is not like the others, he is not a stickler for time or money. He has helped tutor my children in history and philosophy for a couple of years now. There have been times outside of scheduled meets where the kids had questions and they simply texted him and he gave a thought out response and even called on one occasion to get more info she he could properly respond. We tried other tutors before and were told in the past that they cannot answer questions outside of scheduled hours, etc.... VERY FRUSTRATING specially for quick things. Garo is definitely the way to go!

Garo has helped my son and daughter both in the classroom and outside as a soccer coach. With school work he is very patient, well educated, and extremely versed in how to be meticulous to help make sure that everything is understood and learned properly.
