About Evan

I’m the tutor who gets it—because I live it too. I’m a Bedford High School cross-country and track runner, pounding the pavement at practice every day, pushing through those last 400m repeats when your legs are screaming, and knowing exactly what it feels like to balance tough workouts with a packed class schedule and looming tests. That same discipline and mental toughness I bring to races is what I bring to our sessions: steady, patient, no-quit energy that keeps going until the problem is solved and you’re stronger for it. I know what it’s like to be exhausted after a long run and still need to crank out calculus or stats homework, so I’ll work around your practice schedule, explain things fast when you’re short on time, and make sure math never becomes the thing that stresses you out more than intervals. If you’re a runner too, you already know how to grind—you shouldn’t have to grind alone on math. Let’s team up, get you faster on the trails and in the classroom, and turn those grades into something you can be just as proud of as your PRs. Message me—I’m ready when you are.

About the lesson

Students should choose me as their math tutor because I don’t just explain answers—I help you truly understand the material so you can solve problems on your own, even when the wording changes or the numbers look different. My sessions are patient, judgment-free, and tailored exactly to where you’re getting stuck, whether it’s fractions, algebra, geometry, pre - calculus, SAT/ACT prep, or college-level courses. I break complicated concepts into clear steps, use real-world examples that actually make sense, and give you plenty of practice with instant feedback so the material sticks. Hundreds of my past students have raised their grades dramatically (many from failing to A’s), built real confidence, and even started enjoying math. If you’re tired of feeling lost in class or stressed before tests, let’s work together—you’ll see results faster than you think.
