About Nam
Hi! I'm a Year 12 VCE student with a passion for Mathematics and Science. I've always enjoyed solving problems and helping my classmates understand topics they find challenging. Seeing someone go from feeling stuck to feeling confident is one of the reasons I enjoy tutoring.
I decided to become a tutor because I know that every student learns differently, and sometimes all it takes is someone to explain a concept in a new way. As a current student, I understand the pressures of school and can relate to the challenges younger students face. My goal is to make learning less stressful, more enjoyable, and help students build the confidence they need to succeed.
I'm friendly, patient, and approachable, and I always encourage students to ask questions without worrying about making mistakes. Whether it's helping with homework, preparing for a test, or strengthening their understanding of Math and Science, I'm committed to supporting each student and helping them reach their full potential.

As a current Year 12 VCE student, I understand the challenges students face and know how to explain concepts in a way that is clear, relatable, and easy to follow. My teaching approach is patient and supportive, focusing on building confidence as well as improving understanding. I adapt each lesson to suit the student's learning style, using step-by-step explanations, worked examples, and plenty of practice questions to reinforce key concepts.
My lessons are typically 60 minutes long, but I can adjust the length depending on the student's needs and preferences. I aim to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and working through problems at their own pace.
While I am still completing my VCE studies, I have a strong academic background in mathematics and science and enjoy helping younger students succeed. Being a current student allows me to relate to the school curriculum and explain topics in a way that is engaging and easy to understand.
My lessons are ideal for students from primary school up to Year 9 who need support with Mathematics and general Science. Whether a student is looking to improve their grades, prepare for tests, complete homework, or strengthen their understanding of key topics, I am committed to helping them achieve their learning goals.
