About Emrie

I am a professional ballet dancer with experience performing and training at a high professional level. I furthered my advanced professional training with Ballet West, then shortly after began my professional career with Utah Metropolitan Ballet. I have performed as a soloist with Montana Ballet as well as Convergence Ballet. My professional background allows me to approach teaching with clarity, discipline, and an understanding of what is required to succeed in both auditions and professional environments.

About the lesson

My private lessons offer classical coaching tailored to each dancer’s individual needs. With a focus on clean, efficient technique, artistry, and confidence! I provide detailed corrections you don’t always get in group classes, helping dancers progress faster. Whether you are preparing for auditions, competitions, or personal growth, my goal is to create a supportive environment where dancers feel empowered, strong, and confident in their movement and in themselves. I absolutely love what I do and would love to work with you!

I have known Emrie for 7 years and have had the privilege of taking many ballet lessons from her. Not only have those lessons greatly improved my strength, technique, and artistry in ballet, but have also been so encouraging and uplifting. Emrie is one of the most talented dancers I know, and her talent for teaching is no less. I remember corrections that I received years ago from taking lessons with her, and still apply them to my dancing today. Emrie is also one of the kindest, most thoughtful people I have ever met, and has been a mentor and inspiration to me in both dance and life. If you are looking for ballet lessons that will help you to improve your skills on a new level, while having a fun and uplifting time, Emrie is the perfect option!
