About Lincoln
Pawn structures often collapse because players ignore the basics of king safety. This is where we start to rebuild your board vision and tactical patterns.
We will work on your piece coordination and attacking play until your game analysis feels second nature. I build a customized opening repertoire specifically for you to ensure you enter the middle game with a distinct advantage. Competitive mindset matters as much as calculation. Positional understanding dictates the flow.
Discipline wins matches. My approach utilizes the same high level technical standards required for an International Master title. We refine your decision making process through rigorous observation. The goal is to make your board presence both intimidating and technically sound.

Chess remains my primary language after 12 years at the board. I am a FIDE Master currently sitting at a peak rating of 2300. Adelaide has served as my classroom for coaching juniors and adults alike for over a decade.
My time spent training students has led several to reach Australian junior podiums. I focus on building girls in chess as a primary advocate for the Australian scene. These sessions reflect the competitive reality of the tournament hall. You can expect a coach who prioritizes clarity over comfort.
