About Richard
I have earned a Black Belt in WTF Taekwondo and an Honorary Black Belt in Ryu Jin Jiu Jitsu (I had to stop due to an injury); I earned a Red Belt (next test Black) in Hapkido and a 2 Stripe Brown Belt (next test Black) in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu; I also trained a number of years in Boxing and a short stint in Krav Maga. I truly enjoy teaching, giving others a stronger sense of confidence, and seeing them grow and blossom as people.

Through just a few lessons, I can teach any student to be far safer than he or she previously was his or her entire life through a combination of experience (on the mats and on the streets), skill set, strategies, tactics, and techniques. Should a student want more in depth instruction, I have experience teaching and a deep knowledge of martial arts having trained in multiple disciplines since 1987, and I have sifted out through battle pressure testing which ones work best for each body type.
