About Doris
Studying music at the New England Conservatory led me naturally into the world of language instruction after I finished my formal degree. It turns out that teaching French requires the same attention to detail as vocal training, so I emphasize pronunciation and accent and intonation as core pillars.
I incorporate vocabulary building and grammar into our routine to ensure you have the tools for building complex thoughts. My years on stage and in the studio taught me how to listen closely to subtle shifts in sound and rhythm.
I now help students with interview preparation and writing skills by applying that same sharp ear. We work on idioms and expressions to make your speech sound more authentic and fluid.
