10+ years of accounting, business, computer forensics and information: assurance, security and technology education resulting in two bachelors, two masters, ten graduate certificates and/or certifications at the University of South Florida (USF), Harvard University and Capitol College, a National Security Agency (NSA) and a Department of Homeland Security (DoHS), Academic Center of Excellence. 25+ years of information: assurance, audit, compliance, governance, risk, security and technology experience at seven entities in seven roles as an IT security: analyst, auditor, consultant, freelancer, writer, instructor and website designer in the banking, health, freelance, government, non-profit education and Telecom industries at Bank of Florida, State of Georgia, City of San Antonio, Alamo Colleges, UCLA Health and AT&T. Academic: * Taught 16 different college classes in five disciplines including accounting, business, information technology, cybersecurity and college math / algebra. My lessons will be based on what my student's mission, goal(s) and/or objective(s) are so whether it is life learning or to pass a specific class or a specific test or even write a resume for a job. The course will be structured predicated upon the student's needs first.
A typical lesson plan for passing class for example would involve reviewing each chapter and key concepts to reasonably assure that there is competent due diligent understanding of the material. I also prefer to get a chapter or so ahead of the course and teacher that my student currently has to set that proactive learning so that my students can fully participate in each class and show the winning formula my students receive when they become my students. After all "preparation is the key to success!"
