About Mason
I am a passionate piano tutor with over 9 years of experience helping students reach their musical goals. I hold a Licentiate of Music in Piano (LMusA or equivalent) and have guided learners through ABRSM, Rockschool, and university-level piano studies. My teaching focuses on both technical precision and creative expression. I help students build strong foundations in scales, chords, and sight-reading while exploring pieces that inspire them. Every lesson is tailored to the student’s abilities and goals, ensuring steady progress and confidence. I believe music should be both challenging and enjoyable. I provide real-time feedback and engaging practice routines that keep students motivated. Whether preparing for exams or performing for personal growth, I support every step of the journey. I take pride in unlocking each student’s unique creative and technical potential. Watching learners develop their own voice at the piano is the most rewarding part of my work. My aim is to make every lesson a space for growth, discovery, and a lasting love of music.

My teaching approach is designed to help students grow confidently at their own pace. I guide learners through structured skill-building using chord progressions, scales, and rhythmic exercises. Repertoire is carefully selected to challenge and inspire, ensuring steady musical growth.
I provide real-time feedback during lessons, so students can correct mistakes and build strong habits immediately. Practice routines are engaging, varied, and tailored to each student’s goals. I emphasize understanding the music, not just playing notes.
Students learn to connect theory with practical playing, unlocking creativity and musical expression. I focus on helping those who enjoy playing for fun or want to master contemporary and popular styles. Lessons are interactive, encouraging, and built around the student’s interests.
I ensure that every student feels supported, motivated, and confident in their abilities. Progress is celebrated at every step, making learning both rewarding and enjoyable. My goal is to develop not just technical skills, but a lifelong love for piano. Each session is structured yet flexible, keeping learning fun.
By the end of each lesson, students feel accomplished and eager to play more. I help them discover their strengths while improving areas that need attention. Music becomes more than practice—it becomes a personal journey of growth.
