About Gemma
I’m Gemma, a yoga instructor with a rich background as a paediatric and perinatal mental health occupational therapist. With over 15 years of personal yoga practice and 5 years of teaching experience, my journey began through sharing trauma-informed yoga within social, emotional, and mental health secondary schools. I’ve also taught privately, supporting children with autism, ADHD, and young adults with disabilities in a college setting. My training includes completing my Children’s Yoga Teacher Training in Cambridge, a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training in Greece and London, and Parent and Baby Yoga training during my time working in perinatal mental health. My passion for yoga grew from the powerful changes I experienced in my own practice, the physical strength, mental clarity, sensory awareness, and deep sense of calm it brings. These benefits inspired me to share the practice with others, helping people of all ages discover the same healing and connection. I believe yoga is not just movement; it’s a powerful tool for coping with life’s challenges, grounding ourselves through change, and facilitating shared joy and connection —essential elements for wellbeing and finding balance in everyday life.

Step into a yoga experience that celebrates movement, connection, and joy! My lessons are designed for everyone, from curious little ones to adults seeking balance and calm. Each class encourages natural movement, helping you tune into what your body truly needs while discovering new depths of strength, energy, and ease. For parents and babies, sessions are a beautiful way to bond and grow together. Through gentle movements, soothing stretches, and calming rhythms, we support your baby’s physical and sensory development while creating special moments of connection and fun. For children, classes are playful, creative, and full of movement exploration. They’ll build confidence, coordination, and flexibility, all while learning to listen to their bodies and express themselves freely in a supportive and lively space. For adults, sessions offer time to recharge your mind and body. You’ll move with awareness, release tension, and leave feeling refreshed, centred, and ready to take on the day with renewed energy. Lesson lengths are tailored to your needs: 1 hour for adults, 1 hour for parent-and-baby classes, and 30–45 minutes for children. Come join me on the mat — let’s move naturally, breathe deeply, and discover just how good it feels to flow together!
