About Hanya
My name is Hanya Stanbury. I grew up in the south of France so I have an international background and am multilingual. I completed the International Baccalaureate and then moved to the UK to do my studies in business and design. I now have a full-time job as a kitchen sales assistant and kitchen designer. My qualities are: Maths, arts and crafts, being good with kids, design, interior design, English, French and business. Happy to help with any of those subjects if needed.
I am a friendly, patient, and supportive person who enjoys helping children learn, improve their skills, and gain confidence in their schoolwork. I understand that every child learns differently and that some children may need a little extra help outside the classroom to fully understand what they are being taught. I aim to provide a positive and encouraging learning environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace. I am happy to support children with their English studies, reading, writing, spelling, grammar, homework, and essay checking.
My goal is to make learning less stressful, help children feel more confident in their abilities, and support them in making steady progress alongside their school education.

My lessons are designed to support children under 15 with their schoolwork and help them feel more confident in their English studies. I provide extra support alongside their regular school lessons, helping them understand topics they may find difficult and practise the skills they learn in class. This includes homework assistance, reading practice, spelling, grammar, vocabulary, writing, and essay checking. I aim to create a friendly, patient, and encouraging learning environment where children can ask questions, work at their own pace, and strengthen their understanding. My goal is to complement their school education, help them stay on top of their studies, and build the confidence they need to make progress in their learning.
