About Maryum
A distinction in O level Accounting and degree in Marketing and Finance has advantaged me in tutoring O level students. I’ve also tutored University Level 'Introduction to Sociology' (70 students) and maintained 2+ years of multi-disciplinary Elementary Level teaching experience at an International American Franchise ‘FasTracKids’. This included teaching a multi-faceted curriculum covering subjects ranging from Communication, Maths, Natural Science, Earth Science, Biology, Astronomy, Economics, Technology, Creativity, Creative Literature, Speech, Art and Drama and Goals and Life’s lessons (up to 50 students) Additionally, I have taught English and Science for 4 years at LGS to 250 students in total which has drastically allowed me to stay connected to a 21st century classroom. I have attained an overall band score of 8.0 in IELTS Academic which has assisted me in carrying out effective research, communication and has improved my critical thinking skills. Additionally, assuming the role of an Account Manager led me to launch Sunsilk PFDC Fashion Week on social media and on ground; making it the year’s most talked about event on digital media. I successfully launched the T-20 predictor application for ‘Clear’ on social media. Out of the total people recruited, 40% were organic recruits. Working on competitive projects like these has given me practical knowledge of the marketing industry and its workings; which is crucial to teaching Advertising, Marketing and its related disciplines.
