About Alex
I am a scientist who has been amazed by evolution from a young age. I am 34 years old and live in Cornwall, though I am originally from London.
I have achieved 3 degrees in biology related subjects and enjoy discussing what I have learned.
I have experience through work of teaching and I have demonstrable experience of presenting science in an understandable way through my studies.
I love animals, which originally fuelled my interest in biology.

I have experience of teaching people about conservation through work at the Natural History Museum in their Wildlife Garden. There I educated the public about British habitats and wildlife. I also have worked at Sutton Ecology Centre, where I gave students tours of the grounds and taught them about the plant and animal life present there.
I have a foundation degree in Animal Conservation and Biodiversity, a bachelor's degree in Applied Zoology (first class with honours) and a research master's degree in Biological Science. My thesis was on communication in tropical fish.
I am well versed in conservation, evolution and animal behaviour. I have a passion for science and enjoy imparting this knowledge onto others.
