About Heather
I am very passionate about ASL. I was born into a family of Deafness (my mother is Deaf, and my sisters and I are Hard-of Hearing). American Sign Language was a native language spoken in our house. I have also worked in education teaching young Deaf children how to sign for six years.

While I was in high school, I took American Sign Language (ASL) and Deaf Culture courses at California School for the Deaf. I also took ASL one, two, and three in college as well while completing my Liberal Arts degree.
