About Eiko
I am Japanese and a trained cook of Thai Ministry of Education. In the last 9 years I have been teaching Asian food in expats for german and european expats in Shanghai. In addition, I also worked with a German star chef in Shanghai to make an Asian restaurant. For this I have developed a share of the menu with Japanese Modern Izakaya Concept and trained Chinese cooking. As you wish, I can teach either German, English, Japanese, Thai or Chinese. In my cooking class you first get to know important ingredients. What is Tamarind? Which rice is right for a particular dish? After that comes Technique. How do you cook with wok on electric cookers? What is right Technique to cook authentic Thai curry? And all important is "flavor" taste and the combination of taste to know. What is the main flavor combination for Thai cuisine, so that the food tastes authentic? With a lot of fun you can learn everything with me.

Perfect! Seit etwas über einem Jahr koche ich online zusammen mit Eiko und habe dabei sehr viel gelernt. Vor allem aber macht der Unterricht mit Eiko wahnsinnig viel Spaß und das Essen war bislang jedes Mal vorzüglich.
Was mir besonders gefällt, sind Eikos saisonaler Ansatz, ihr breites Wissen nicht nur der japanischen, sondern auch chinesischen und anderen asiatischen Küchen sowie die umfassende Verwertung eines Produktes: Eiko findet auch für den Rettichstrunk Verwendung. Für mich sind die Kochstunden mit Eiko immer ein kleines Wochenhighlight - ich kann sie nur jedem empfehlen!- Jutta ist sehr freundlich, gut organisiert mit Vorbereitung/Einlaufen und motiviert zu lehrnen. Sehr Empfehlenswert!!!- Es ist fast ein Jahr her, seit wir mit Whatsapp angefangen haben zusammen zu kochen. Jutta ist immer nett, positiv, flexibel und bereit, mit mir etwas über authentische asiatische Küche zu lernen. Sie gibt mir immer Feedback, damit ich die Klassen verbessern und gestalten kann, die dem Geschmack und der Vorliebe ihrer Familie entsprechen.
