About Emily

I have been professionally trained in American Sign Language for the past four years, while learning ASL for the past seven. I have attended Rochester Institute of Technology's college of National Technical Institute for the Deaf since 2017, and have found myself yearning to share my knowledge with others.

I have experience tutoring high school students in ASL, in which I thoroughly enjoyed connecting with students and helping them to find the confidence to develop their skills. In this field, confidence is key- and I will help every student find it within themselves.

About the lesson

To begin working together, I need to know a little about you! When contacting me, please include any experience you have with sign language so I can prepare for our session. Next, simply let me know if there are any specific areas of the language you would like to focus on. After that, we can start our signing sessions!
