Experienced tutor in Golf, Robert offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

For 40 years I have golf teachers that showed me what I was doing wrong, but not having me do the swing correctly and why. Now if I make a mistake I know why and can correct it. Two years ago I would shoot 105, now I have shot 77 for 18 holes and expect to hit in low 80s

My game has improved significantly since I started working with Robert. He has an excellent understanding of the golf swing. Not only can he explain what I am doing wrong, by why. Each lesson we work on one simple thing, which (1) makes the lesson very understandable and (2) has allowed me to show gradual improvement every time.

1. quick recognition of my swing issues with easy sensible solutions to work on to create noticeable improvement in relatively short time
2. emphasizing measured and constant improvement rather than drastic/major uncomfortable moves
3. very reasonable fee structure- 1/2 of what I had been paying for lessons
4. like the idea of working outside rather than indoor bays
5. flexible hours- very will to accommodate my schedule
6. identifies your positive points and is quick to acknowledge your progress on weak points

Robert has the ability to quickly assess my swing issues and tailor his teaching to uniquely address my issues. I went through several golf instructors before I met Robert, but have stayed his student for the last 19 years. I have also recommended him to several others, including my son. He is talented, smart, kind, knows the game of golf, and is very professional. After each lesson, Robert provides a summary of our work and he always follows up to see how my game is progressing. I have become a much better golfer because of Robert's instruction.

I have taken three golf lessons from Robert Whittington PGA Golf Professional on Chipping, Pitching and Putting and I’m glad I did, Robert has been very helpful to my game and I have saved strokes as a result. Robert Whittington instructed me on club selection, ball position, weight shifting, alignment, and my swing. Also, Robert has a warm personality and he is a pleasure to spend time with. I’m looking forward to taking more lessons from Robert Whittington.
