About Charlotte
I am currently a Paralegal working at a regional law firm in Surrey. I have completed my Undergraduate Degree in law with a Masters in Law and Business alongside my Legal Practice Course.
I specialise in teaching Law at GSCE, A-Level and for Undergraduates Degrees
My teaching style is based on each individual student as every pupil has unique learning styles and aspirations. That is why before any of my lessons, I will discuss with the students what they would most like to achieve from these sessions, whether it be to prepare for an exam, or to tackle a particularly difficult area of their chosen subject.
With this knowledge I will tailor a specific learning plan with the student, taking into consideration: the amount of time they would like to be tutored for, and the specification guidelines of the subject they are currently studying (such as AQA or OCR).
To measure progress, where appropriate I will give regular past papers and work outside lessons to complete, which we will then go over in the next online session.
To encourage learning one of the most important things is to go at the pace which is best suited for each student, to ensure that each session is productive as well as enjoyable.

Perfect! Dedicated and fun law teacher
Charlotte is a wonderful teacher. My daughter enjoys her lessons very much. From her tutoring, she has built quite a deal of law knowledge and cultivated a strong interest in law. Charlotte is not just delivering boring knowledge but combine some fun examples in her teaching and always asks some enlightening questions for her students to think about. Charlotte is very organized about her lesson plan and notes after the class and she always reminds her student to review points from previous lessons. Definitely we will learn with Charlotte in the long run.

Charlotte has a keen interest in the subject of Latin, something which I struggled with immensely, when choosing it for GCSE. I discovered Charlotte during my GCSE years and she helped me improve significantly going from a C to an A*. She would not only break down the course material, but explain techniques and the best ways to answer questions in an exam. I struggled particularly with the literature side of Latin, something which Charlotte noticed, therefore, she provided me with annotated stories and poems (which she had made herself) to act as an aid when revising and gave me more points to include in my essays to enter that A* band - something I could’ve missed had I not been following the guidance of Charlotte. Nonetheless, despite focusing on the literature side of Latin, Charlotte made sure I didn’t forget or slip up on the language side, therefore she would test me weekly on the vocab lists provided by Cambridge, as well as any grammar points most likely to come up.
I know I definitely wouldn’t have got that A* without Charlotte, and her friendly, bubbly nature creates a calm atmosphere where I am not embarrassed to make mistakes or admit I am unaware of a concept. Charlotte is patient and understands these frustrations, by working at a pace I am comfortable with. If I struggled with certain parts of the language exam, be it grammar or vocabulary, she would take the time to go through it with me and explain it in a way that makes it much easier to comprehend. I would definitely recommend going to Charlotte for help as she is experienced with different exam boards and the new GCSE and A Level specifications.Charlotte is a great tutor. She has taught me what I need to know in an effective way. She has the ability of tailoring the way she teaches to my ability. She is very approachable.
