About Rory

My teaching approach for Violin is built on four key principles: Communication, Creativity, Integrity, and Adaptability. I believe in clear and open communication with my students. I listen to their goals and challenges, ensuring that I can tailor each lesson to suit their needs. This helps build trust and a positive learning environment. Violin is an art form, and I encourage students to express themselves creatively. I integrate improvisation, experimentation with different styles, and personal interpretation to inspire artistic growth and make learning enjoyable. I uphold honesty and transparency in my teaching. I give constructive feedback and always encourage a growth mindset. My students learn that effort and persistence lead to improvement, both in skills and confidence.

About the lesson

With over 8 years of experience teaching Violin to college students, I am passionate about helping my students reach their full potential. My teaching style is tailored to each individual, focusing on building strong technical foundations while encouraging creative expression. I use a blend of traditional techniques and modern methods, incorporating technology, music theory, and ear training to enhance learning. My lessons are engaging, fun, and focused on achieving real progress, whether preparing for exams or exploring new styles. I’m dedicated to fostering a supportive and inspiring environment for all my students.
