First in Food technology year 10 2017
4 years experience cooking in a professional environment.
4 years tutoring experience.
Currently undergoing a bachelor of primary education at university of Canberra and looking to extend upon my skills.

Very hands on approach. In the case of icing and decorating I will demonstrate the technique multiple times before allowing you hands on experience. With recipes and skills I may either complete a demonstration or allow you to take on most of the practical work while I supervise and assist where needed, I just believe its easier to learn while completing the task on hand especially when considering practical skills like cooking.

Kirsty and I were both in the same year of high school, up until my final year I wasn't a good student and didn't try in school. My writing was bad and I didn't understand any of the techniques used in English analysis. Her style of teaching allows you to not just learn a concept but put that concept into practice and get detailed and concise feedback. For example, if I were to give her an essay draft. She would highlight areas where I could have used stronger techniques and wording. Explaining the why's and hows of English writing. If you are a student who is dedicated to achieving the best you can in English, I cannot recommend Kirsty enough as an English tutor.
