Emma is one of our best Law tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Emma

I have been tutoring undergraduate and postgraduate law since September 2019. I have taught all core subjects on the conversion course, LLB and SQE, receiving excellent feedback from students who are consistently awarded high commendations and distinctions. I have completed the SQE1, GDL, and I have an LLM in Environmental Law and Policy from UCL. I was awarded a distinction in the latter two and passed the SQE1 first time, self-taught. I currently work in Human Rights and Public Law as a Trainee Solicitor as part of my Qualifying Work Experience.

About the lesson

I tailor my teaching approach to each student’s individual needs, offering clear, engaging and accessible explanations across all core legal subjects. I am flexible in the subjects I teach and consistently help students achieve strong results in every area of law. Lessons can be delivered in a range of lengths to suit each learner’s preferences. I also have experience supporting students with additional needs and adapt my teaching methods to create an inclusive and effective learning environment.

Perfect! Emma is an amazing tutor who has really helped me gain a greater understanding of the foundational legal knowledge I need for SQE1. I first reached out after not passing and not only has Emma taken the time to really understand where the gaps are in my knowledge, but has shown me how to change my prep for my next exam and build my confidence. I couldn’t ask for better support - thank you!

Perfect! Emma is currently tutoring my son, Reagan, as he progresses through his LLB law degree, and we have already been extremely impressed with the impact she has made. Although the tutoring has only recently begun, Reagan has shown significant improvement in both his understanding of the material and his ability to apply legal principles effectively in his work.

Emma is completely reliable, well-prepared, and clearly has a strong grasp of the subject matter. She understands exactly what is required at degree level and communicates complex concepts in a way that is clear and manageable. Reagan has grown noticeably more confident in approaching his assignments and coursework since starting his sessions with her.

We are very pleased with the progress so far and fully expect to continue working with Emma for quite some time. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone seeking knowledgeable and dependable academic support.

Ms Emma was a great tutor, she explained everything in detail and made sure I knew exactly what I was doing. Ms Emma was great at clarifying information that I thought was very complicating. One thing that separates her from other tutors is that she is dedicated to helping others, almost as if she can’t rest without making sure I was perfect at what I was learning. Ms Emma is highly recommended if you want to become great at what you’re studying.

Emma was my tutor for over 4 years and the amount she has taught me has been beneficial in ways I couldn't have imagined. I genuinely believe that everything she taught me helped me grow as a person. My skills, my personality, my confidence, my speech and my overall understanding have developed in ways that high school me would've never thought was possible. She taught me so many educational tricks and tips that I know I'll use for a lifetime. I've had many tutors before her but she is the one who made the most meaningful change. Emma truly cares and puts everything into teaching, sharing her knowledge and patience in the most supportive way. She is truly the most trustworthy tutor l've ever had.
