About Karina
I am a Biomedical Major and I was a previous tutor for my department. I tutored and led a mandatory class discussion for freshman, sophomore, and juniors. The maximum students that were in my class were 40 and we integrated handouts for their understanding.

My students were undergraduate students and some in which I had for classses and in clubs. I needed them to understand that I was their tutor and not their friend in class, and they had to put effort. I would incorporate handouts to review the material that was discussed in class. I would also have jeopardy games that prepared for their finals and explained difficult concepts. I am very charismetic and my goal for them is to gain confidence and implement good skills. I usually walk around class and talk to each group and get familiarized with them.
