About Ananaya

Hey there! I'm Ananya
I've got a BSc under my belt and I'm currently doing my MSc in Zoology — so biology isn't just something I teach, it's something I genuinely love and keep learning more about every day. For the past 2 years, I've been teaching biology to secondary and higher secondary students, and honestly, it's been such a rewarding journey watching students go from "I don't get this at all" to "oh wait, that actually makes sense!"
I'm big on being reliable — showing up on time, coming prepared, and really paying attention to how each student learns best. To me, biology shouldn't feel like a boring chapter you have to cram before an exam. It's actually pretty fascinating once it clicks, and that's what I try to bring into every class — curiosity, clarity, and a bit of fun along the way.
If your child needs help untangling a confusing topic, or just wants to feel more confident going into exams, I'm here for it. Patient explanations, real examples, and zero judgment for "silly questions" — that's my whole vibe.
Can't wait to be part of your learning journey!

I'm Ananaya, and I believe biology comes alive when it's connected to real life, so I focus on making complex concepts simple, visual, and memorable rather than just textbook-driven.
Techniques & Methods

I use diagrams, real-life examples, and simple analogies to explain difficult concepts like genetics, physiology, and ecology
I encourage active recall and regular revision through short quizzes after each topic
I break down NCERT/board syllabus topics into structured, easy-to-follow modules
I clear doubts on the spot and encourage students to ask "why" rather than memorize blindly

Typical Class Structure

Quick recap of the previous topic (5–10 min)
Introduction of new concept with diagrams/examples (20–25 min)
Practice questions and doubt-solving (10–15 min)
Short summary and homework/revision task for the next class

What Makes Me Different

Strong subject foundation with a BSc and an ongoing MSc in Zoology, so I bring deeper, updated knowledge beyond the standard syllabus
2 years of hands-on teaching experience with secondary and higher secondary students
Patient, student-friendly approach — I adapt my pace to each student's understanding rather than rushing through the syllabus.
