About Saowalak
Hi, I am Saowalak, a biology tutor, graduated PhD in Molecular biology from University College London, UK. I began tutoring as a demonstrator in my first year of postgraduate and continued during all four years of PhD course. My academic background, I am a Thai scholar, who received BSc in Biology from the University of York and an A-level from Rochester Independent College.
I am currently tutoring as my part-time job. I love helping students to gain confidence in biology. All my students feel comfortable asking questions and showing their understanding of the content. Over the years, I experienced teaching IGCSE, and A-level Biology on several exam boards like CIE and Edexcel. I also have experience in demonstrating labs and tutorials at the university level, which lead my students to the rewarding "Eureka" moment of understanding the material. I am passionate about biology and use it to inspire and encourage my students!
When not tutoring, I enjoy spending time with DIY projects, Thai cooking, baking and badminton. I also have an interest in teaching IELTS for foreigners to those in need.

I know Saowalak during our doctoral studies. She did biochemistry for her BSc and are fully trained in molecular biology during her PhD. She is totally capable of tutoring biology. We worked together for a few tutorial and practical sessions. She is patient, organised and always listens to what her students want to achieve. I would recommend Saowalak as she knows biology and also how to take exams.
I have known Saowalak for over 10 years, we had been working together at the university. Saowalak is very smart, she has lot of teaching experience while she was doing her degrees. She is one of the nicest, kindest and most honest person I have met. She is calm and patient. Saowalak always explains science concepts clearly and easy to understand. She loves teaching and always has passion in teaching. I believe she will be a good tutor.
Her professionalism, expertise, track record of success and effective communication make her a trustworthy tutor. I can feel confident in her abilities to guide her students towards academic success and personal growth.
