About Hatty
My name is Hatty and have recently completed a Masters in Evolution and Biodiversity at Imperial College London in partnership with the Natural History Museum. Prior to this I spent 4 years studying an undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Bath. I have always loved learning and really enjoyed school. I am enthusiastic about education and feel that if the lessons are tailored to the students needs then everyone can succeed and find their passion.
I also value a work life balance and have been involved in many extracurricular hobbies including musical theatre. I have experience working with disabilities and neurodiversity and at University I worked on a team to improve the accessibility of campus because I am passionate about reducing social injustice.
I hope this demonstrates my empathetic and flexible approach to learning.

Having recently been a student myself, my approach is focused on the individuals needs. I value getting to know how the student learns best and adapting my method to suit them whilst also encouraging techniques that I have previously found useful. Similarly I believe in tailoring the lengths of lessons based on how the student feels they focus best, at a minimum of 30 minutes and up to 2 hours.
I have experience working as a homework Nanny up to GCSE level, including homework help, general revision and exam tailored practice. I am eager to expand into A Level tutoring having achieved an A in A level Geography and Biology.
